PROPOSED CONSENT ORDER

Elmore County

Pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Environmental Management Act, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) is proposing to issue a Consent Order to Crown Construction, LLC, Holley – HWY 111 Site, NPDES ALR10C664, on the northern side of HWY 111, in Holtville, Elmore County, Alabama.

The violations consisted of a lack of effective erosion and sediment control BMPs being implemented and/or maintained and the noncompliant discharge of sediment offsite.

The order, if issued, would require the operator to submit a plan to correct all violations; implement and maintain effective BMPs; comply with applicable ADEM rules and permit requirements; perform corrective actions; pay a civil penalty in the amount of $14,000.
