Pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Environmental Management Act, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management is proposing to issue an Order to Charles S. Hudson
for failure to close an unauthorized dump and an illegal scrap tire accumulation located at 1058 County Road 530 (23-08-34-0-000-012.000), Hanceville, Cullman County, Alabama.The violations consist of Charles S. Hudson creating and not properly closing an unauthorized dump, while also illegally accumulating scrap tires.
The Department is proposing a civil penalty in the amount of $7,550. The Order, if issued, would require Charles S. Hudson to cease operating or contributing to the unauthorized dump and the illegal scrap tire accumulation and to submit an abatement plan to the Department. This plan would require the removal and proper disposal of all regulated waste and a schedule for abatement completion.
