PROPOSED CONSENT ORDER
Jefferson County
Pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Environmental Management Act, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) is proposing to issue a Consent Order to Byrom Building Corp. which operates Ridge Landing, Ridge Landing, located in the city of Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama.
The violations consisted of failure to implement and maintain appropriate/effective BMP’s producing non-compliant discharges resulting in offsite sedimentation from the facility.
The order, if issued, would require the operator to pay a civil penalty in the amount of $25,000.00.
Interested persons may submit written comments, including request for a hearing within 30 days of the publication date of this notice, to:

This notice is hereby given this 25th day of May, 2023, by authorization of the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.
