PROPOSED CONSENT ORDER
Jefferson County
Pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Environmental Management Act, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) is proposing to issue a Consent Order to USS Real Estate which operates The Preserve, NPDES ALR109242, located in the city of Hoover, Jefferson County, Alabama.
The violations consisted of the failure to implement/maintain appropriate and effective BMP’s which produced non-compliant discharges from the facility.
The order, if issued, would require the operator to pay a civil penalty in the amount of $33,800.00.
Interested persons may submit written comments, including request for a hearing within 30 days of the publication date of this notice, to:
