NOTICE OF UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK (UST) CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN
AND REQUEST FOR COMMENTS
ETOWAH COUNTY
Mr. John Moss, Colonial Realty Limited Partnership, 780 Brookwood Village, Birmingham, AL 35209, is required by ADEM to implement a Corrective Action Plan for remediation of soil and/or groundwater which has resulted from a release from an underground storage tank located at the Sears Automotive Center, 1001 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama. The site is identified as Facility I.D. Number 11992-055-004719 and Incident Number UST89-11-04. The proposed remediation methods include natural attenuation monitoring.

Persons wishing to comment may do so, in writing, to the Department's named contact above within 15 days following the publication date of this notice. Any person wishing to provide additional information regarding the Corrective Action Plan may do so.
A written request for a public meeting may also be filed within that 15-day period and must state the nature of the issues proposed to be raised in the meeting.
