PROPOSED CONSENT ORDER

Pursuant to the provisions of the Alabama Environmental Management Act, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management is proposing to issue an Order to Copeland Ferry/Pumpkin Center Water Authority, which operates a facility located at Goodsprings in Walker County, Alabama.
The violation(s) consisted of the Alabama Safe Drinking Water Act, Code of Alabama (1975) §§ 22-23-30 through 22-23-53, as amended and the ADEM Administrative Code of Regulation (hereinafter "ADEM" Admin. Code R" promulgated pursuant thereto for the facility mentioned above.
The Department is proposing a civil penalty in the amount of $1700.00. The Order, if issued, would require Mr. Richard M. Robinson to comply with ADEM Admin r. 335-7-14.
Interested persons may submit written comments, including a request for a hearing, within 30 day of the publication date of this notice to:
