NOTICE OF A PROPOSED VOLUNTARY CLEANUP PLAN UNDER THE ALABAMA LAND RECYCLING AND ECONOMIC REDEVELOPMENT ACT (ALRERA) FOR THE FORMER BROCKWAY GLASS FACILITY LOCATED IN MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA.

TTL, Inc. has completed a Voluntary Cleanup Plan for the former Brockway Glass Facility site located at 3480 Lower Wetumpka Road, Montgomery, Alabama. The site is an irregular parcel about 37 acres in size. The property was occupied by Owens-Brockway Glass Company from the 1940s until the late 1980s. Since the late 1980s the property has been occupied by a variety of businesses and used as storage facilities. There are seven warehouse buildings on the property that occupy a combined total of about 700,000 square feet. The Voluntary Cleanup Plan was approved by the Department on January 20, 2009.

Copies of the Voluntary Cleanup Plan are available for public inspection for 30 days from the date of this notice during normal business hours Monday through Friday, except legal holidays at the following location:

Copies may be obtained by contacting Mr. Russell Kelly, ADEM, at the above address. A nominal fee for copying and/or emailing will be charged. Arrangements for copying should be made in advance.

In order to affect final decisions, all comments must address issues that have an impact on the applicant’s ability to comply with applicable environmental laws, rules, and regulations. ADEM maintains a list of interested individuals who are mailed legal notices issued by the Department.
