NOTICE OF UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK (UST) CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN
AND REQUEST FOR COMMENTS
PUBLIC NOTICE - 201
Dixie Oil Company of Alabama, Inc., P. O. Box 3445, Meridian, Mississippi is required by ADEM to implement a Corrective Action Plan for remediation of soil and/or groundwater which has resulted from a release from an underground storage tank located at Dixie Oil Company Station #89, 1106 4th Street NW, Red Bay, Alabama. The site is identified as Facility I.D. Number 11479-059-017024 and Incident Number AST16-06-02. The proposed remediation methods include air injection with vacuum extraction.
Copies of the Corrective Action Plan for Dixie Oil Company Station #89 are available for public inspection electronically via http://adem.alabama.gov/newsEvents/publicNotices.cnt and at the following location Monday – Friday (except legal holidays), 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. A nominal fee for copying and/or mailing may be charged. Arrangements for copying should be made in advance.

Persons wishing to comment may do so, in writing or by email, to the Department's named contact above within 15 days following the publication date of this notice. Any person wishing to provide additional information regarding the Corrective Action Plan may do so.
A written request for a public meeting may also be filed within that 15-day period and must state the nature of the issues proposed to be raised in the meeting.
